Insensitive Dunbar should stick to acting
I was alarmed to read that the actor Adrian Dunbar has blamed Brexit for the murder of journalist Lyra McKee. (News 2 May)
Thankfully this ill-judged remark was counteracted by an excellent article by Paul Nolan, (Comment May 2) who reminded us that 160 people have been murdered since the signing of the Belfast Agreement in 1998. These 160 deaths cannot be all blamed on Brexit as most occurred before the word ‘Brexit’ was conceived.
Evidently, Adrian Dunbar should stick to what he does best – Acting!
