Reason tricolour does not fly at new Orange museum

Dear Sir,

I am afraid Dr.David Hume, theĀ  Director of Services of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland, does not adequately explain why the Tricolour does not fly at the new Museum of Orange Heritage.

The reason is that there is, at present, no Grand Lodge of the Irish Republic. If there was a separate Grand Lodge for the 26 Counties then there would be no excuse for not flying the Tricolour. Perhaps that is why there is no separate Grand Lodge for the Irish Republic as some orangemen in the Republic would appear to desire.

Yours etc,

Brian Kennaway (Rev)
